Ok, this is pertaining to the Brad Wall/Tom Lukiwski issue. I know a lot of people, and NO ONE CARES; yet today the Gay and Lesbian community are going protest at Tom's office. http://www.newstalk980.com/incoming/20080408/regina-gay-and-lesbian-comm...
What is going to happen? There is going to be another apology, and another apology, and really, give it up! Tom, I'm on your side. I've heard politicians apologize before, and yours was by far the most sincere I've heard. Brad's, yours wasn't so bad either. So why don't you just accept the apology and move on with life?
No, there won't be 'moving on', because he's a politician, and in everyone's eyes, politicians can't make mistakes. Yes, what he said was terrible. I'm not disputing that. It was 17 years ago people! MOVE ON!
Frankly, if Tom runs again, he still has my vote, because Tom has done a bang up job so far; mistakes aside.
Let's just drop it.

I point to what Gormley was trying to do yesterday on the radio... Put the shoe on the other foot. If it had been a gay politician making derogatory remarks towards heterosexual people, that tape wouldn't have seen the light of day.
